From 16 to 18 July 2026, the 16th China Xinjiang International Mining and Equipment Expo (XJMEC) and the 21st China Xinjiang International Coal Industry Expo were grandly held at the Xinjiang International Convention & Exhibition Center in Urumqi. Under the theme "Innovation, Sustainability & Globalisation," this year's expo covered a total exhibition area of 135,000 square metres and brought together more than 900 domestic and international mining enterprises. As the only UFI‑accredited mining exhibition in China, the event attracted representatives from mining authorities and industry experts from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, and other countries, gathering to explore new pathways for high‑quality development in the modern mining industry.
